QPEC: QGIS Toolkit for Evaluating Geospatial Data Positional Accuracy according to the Brazilian Cartographic Accuracy Standard

This paper presents the development of a QGIS plugin to support evaluating planimetric positional quality for point and linear features based on metrics established by Brazilian legislation. For this purpose, we used environment Graphical Modeler, which consists an interface concatenate series processes into single algorithm. The set tools, called QPEC, allows performing statistical tests from automatic identification sample size discrepancies. In order demonstrate implemented functionalities, case study was carried out. illustrative example, vector files Cartographic Cadastral System Municipality Salvador - BA (SICAD) were reference data, their homologous OpenStreetMap (OSM) analysed database. results obtained are presented in attributes table. addition, spatial distribution discrepancies is visualised through visual variable colour value quartile classification. creation toolset corroborates feasibility developing more visual, automated complete interfaces users geospatial data analysing information available, especially when it involves free applications with open-source code.
